Facial Rejuvenation treatments have three parts, cupping, gua sha and micro dermal needling.
The treatment begins with the application of an organic argan oil to the face, neck and chest area, just below the collar bones.
Suction cups are then applied and moved in a gentle manner to avoid leaving any marks on the skin. A specific sequence is followed in order to drain the lymphatic system, open the sinuses, stimulate all the acupuncture meridians that go to the face while helping to relieve tension in the face, head, neck and chest.
Facial Cupping moves blood to the tissues and helps with the production of collagen and elastin. By improving the circulation of blood to the skin, fibroblast cells are stimulated and begin to produce natural collagen and elastin.
The increase of fibroblast activity thickens the skin to repair thin, slackening skin and returns the skin back to its youthful state.
Facial Gua Sha
Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese Medicine technique that utilizes gentle scraping movements to revitalize the skin, similar to exfoliation.
In Facial Rejuvenation, a Gua Sha tool made of jade is used. Jade creates a static electromagnetic field when it makes contact with the body. Jade helps to strengthen the internal organs and body systems while boosting the spirit. Jade softens blood vessels and smoothes out wrinkles while lessening the appearance of facial sagging, discoloration and under eye puffiness. It affects the nervous system by stimulating acupuncture points on the head. The vibration of the jade affects the brain and may increase energy.
Micro- Dermal Needling
Use of a micro- dermal needle is the final part of the treatment. The micro dermal roller is applied to clean and dry skin in order to reduce lines and wrinkles and reduce the size of pores. You can imagine aerating the Earth in order to help plants breath and receive nutrients more efficiently, this same concept applies to the skin with the use of the micro-dermal needle.
The micro-dermal needle is gentle and at first may feel like a tickle of the skin. The use of the needle in treatment is an additional fee, the needle is for personal use only and should not be shared.
